Belinda Wurn
Belinda Wurn is National Director of Services for Clear Passage Physical Therapy, a growing network of physical therapy clinics treating chronic pain, female infertility, sexual dysfunction, adhesions, small bowel obstruction, and endometriosis. She co-developed the Wurn Technique ®, a manual non-surgical treatment for decreasing adhesions and their effects.
Belinda has more than 30 years of experience as a physical therapist. She graduated summa cum laude with a B.S. in physical therapy from the University of Florida in 1975. She is professionally licensed in multiple states including Florida, California, and New York.
She is a member of the American Society for Reproductive Medicine (ASRM) and the American Physical Therapy Association (APTA) and specializes in women's health issues.
Belinda studied with some of the finest therapists, physicians, and osteopaths in the U.S. and Europe before developing her unique work. She and Larry combined the most effective techniques of the instructors with whom they studied. Over the decades, she and Larry have refined and developed their own techniques to create the unique treatment approach used in Clear Passage clinics today.
Her research has been published in Fertility and Sterility, Medscape General Medicine, and Alternative Therapies in Health and Medicine: She has co-authored several pioneering studies regarding using (non-surgical) manual physical therapy to treat pain, in the area of women's sexual health and infertility. These peer-reviewed citations show good results treating endometriosis pain, opening blocked fallopian tubes, increasing IVF success, and improving natural fertility. She is the author of a 600+ page Therapist Training Manual that she and Larry use to train therapists for their national network.
Belinda is the former Moderator of INCIID's Forum, Physical Therapy for Infertility, and has been featured in national healthcare journals such as Conceive, Health, Natural Health and PT Newsline as an industry leader. She is an expert in natural ways to increase fertility and in treating various types of sexual dysfunction (decreased orgasm, desire, arousal, lubrication, and satisfaction) and painful intercourse.
Belinda has performed over 25,000 hours of therapy treatments to patients with pain, infertility and sexual dysfunction and has completed extensive post-graduate training in her field.

Larry Wurn
Larry Wurn is CEO and Director of Clinical Studies for Clear Passage Physical Therapy. He co-developed the Wurn Technique ®, a non-surgical treatment for pain, female infertility and sexual dysfunction, with his wife Belinda.
Larry is a graduate of San Francisco State University (BS in English, 1972) and the Florida Institute of Natural Health (LMT, 1990). He is a Florida licensed Massage Therapist.
He is a member of the American Society for Reproductive Medicine (ASRM) and is certified by the National Certification Board for Therapeutic Massage and Bodywork (NCBTMB).
Larry studied manual therapy with recognized experts in the U.S. and in Europe to help treat Belinda for pain and dysfunction following several surgeries and pelvic radiation. Prior to their work, Belinda had been unable to find relief with traditional medical care. Larry and Belinda combined the most effective techniques of the instructors with whom they studied. Over the decades he and Belinda have refined and developed their own techniques to create the unique treatment approach used in Clear Passage Physical Therapy clinics today.

Larry has been a guest speaker at RESOLVE symposiums and ASRM meetings by invitation to present on topics such as endometriosis, sexual pain and dysfunction, and research supporting complementary therapies for fertility. He has instructed manual techniques to therapists and physicians at more than twenty approved medical and physical therapy seminars, including national conferences of the American Back Society and the American Academy of Head, Neck, Facial Pain and TMJ Orthopaedics.
Larry has performed over 25,000 hours of manual treatments. He has taken more than 50 courses of continuing education after licensure and has more than 1,600 hours of manual therapy and specialized post-graduate courses.

Kimberley Patterson
Kimberley Patterson, PTA, LMT is a Clear Passage Certified Therapist in the home office located in Gainesville, Florida.
She has worked closely with Belinda and Larry for more than 15 years. In addition to being a treating therapist, she is also Co-Author of several of our studies and a Clinical Instructor who trains Clear Passage therapists nationally. Kim is truly brilliant, bright, and upbeat.
A cum laude graduate of the Lake City Community College Physical Therapist Assistant Program and a summa cum laude graduate of the Venice School of Massage, Kim has worked in manual therapy since 1992.
Kim is intimately involved in creating studies suitable for publication. She co-authored our pioneering medical study on opening blocked fallopian tubes, published in the peer reviewed journal Alternative Therapies in Health and Medicine. Kim has performed around 25,000 hours of therapy with patients. Her continuing education courses include studies with experts in the U.S. and Europe. She has completed training in myofascial release, visceral manipulation, craniosacral therapy, and other manual therapy techniques.

Evette D'Avy Reed
Evette Reed, PT is a Clear Passage Certified Therapist at our national headquarters in Gainesville, Florida.
Evette has 15 years of experience as a physical therapist, with a focus on chronic pain management. She practiced in Louisiana, carrying both a physical therapy and massage therapy license. She continues to carry a physical therapy license in both Louisiana and Florida.
She studied at Louisiana State University Medical Center in Shreveport and graduated magna cum laude.
Evette has been a member of the APTA since 1993 and served on the Louisiana Board of Physical Therapy Finance Committee for three years. She has also served as an educator to physical therapists throughout the Gainesville area.
Evette finds fulfillment in her work as a physical therapist. She has personally struggled with fertility issues and pelvic pain, and finds great reward in helping patients overcome these same conditions in pursuit of a more fulfilling life. She enjoys treating patients one-on-one and is committed to assisting them in reaching their goals.

Amy Robinson
Amy Robinson, PT is Clinic Director of our Indianapolis, Indiana location. She has over 16 years of experience as a physical therapist. Amy graduated from Indiana University with a Bachelor of Science in Physical Therapy in 1996. She has extensive training and experience with pelvic floor dysfunction, chronic pain, orthopedics, manual therapy, and Women's and Men's Health issues. She is a member of The American Physical Therapy Association (APTA), APTA Section on Women's Health, International Pelvic Pain Society, Endometriosis Association, Interstitial Cystitis Association, National Vulvodynia Association, and The International Society of the Study of Women's Health.

Amy began specializing in Women's Health in 2000; furthermore, her studies in this field included participation with The American Physical Therapy Association Section on Women's Health. She continued to educate herself on the many diagnoses and treatments available by studying with colleagues from the Herman and Wallace Institute for women's and men's health issues, colleagues from the Upledger Institute to learn techniques for Craniosacral Therapy and Visceral Manipulation, and with John Barnes, PT to learn Myofascial Release techniques. Amy places a high priority on education as evidenced by her attendance at over 50 continuing education courses over the past 16 years.
Amy established and launched the Women's Health Program for Tx:Team Therapy in 2000, she worked at The Center for Sexual Medicine with Dr Scott Miles from 2005-2007, and she has been recruited by several companies to develop and establish their Women's and Men's Health Programs. She has been a guest speaker for the Indiana Chapter of American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists, the Society for the Study of Sexuality, and the Indiana Association of Homes and Services for the Aging.

Mary Cox

Mary Elizabeth Cox, PT is a Clear Passage Certified Therapist and has been treating our patients since 2005. She is currently practicing in Irvine, California. She is a licensed physical therapist and a graduate of Long Beach State University, California with a B.S. in Physical Therapy and a B.A. in Psychology.
Mary’s 25 years of experience includes a strong focus in manual (hands-on) therapy, chronic pelvic pain and dysfunction, and other women’s health issues. For more than a decade, her patient focus has been the treatment of pelvic pain, endometriosis, multiple pain issues or chronic pain, fibromyalgia, closed head injuries and headaches. She has extensive postgraduate continuing education in manual soft tissue therapy.
In her career as a physical therapist, Mary has been a leader, organizer, and small business owner. She says that she feels privileged to find such a fabulous team of therapists to work with.

Kathy Hess
Kathy Hess is the owner of Still Water Physical Therapy, a private practice located in Woodbridge, Virginia, just outside of Washington, DC. Kathy has fabulous hands-on skills, due in part to over two decades of continuing education classes in many different forms of manual physical therapy, and in part to her training and certification in the Wurn Technique, at Clear Passage Physical Therapy’s national headquarters.

Kathy has spent the last 20 years using manual (hands-on) techniques to treat chronic pain issues. Throughout her career, she has worked in many areas of pain and dysfunction, including neurologic, pediatric, orthopedic, and geriatric treatment and rehabilitation.
Kathy owned and directed Still Water Physical Therapy for ten years. She then moved to a contractor that provided care to the US military for four years. While she found it very fulfilling to help our men and women in uniform, she is thrilled to reopen Still Water Physical Therapy in conjunction with Clear Passage Physical Therapy.

Michele Forsberg
Michele Forsberg, PT, MS is Clinic Director of our Metro Denver, Colorado location. A former dancer, Michele graduated from the University of the Arts in Philadelphia. She went on to perform professionally in New York City and parlayed her knowledge and appreciation of the body and movement into a career in fitness. Always striving to learn more, she enrolled at Long Island University where she earned her Master’s Degree in Physical Therapy in 1999 and has spent the early half of her career in New York City running her exclusive personal training and physical therapy practice.
She moved to Colorado in 2007 and has since delivered quality care in patients' homes and outpatient clinics in Longmont and Boulder, as well as working with national touring companies like “Hair” and “Traces” at the Denver Center for the Performing Arts. She has worked with a diverse clientele, adults and children from elite athletes and dancers to those with multiple complex diagnoses including chronic pain, fibromyalgia, balance and coordination loss, brain injuries, MS, and Parkinson’s disease. She enjoys learning and growing in her field and has taken extensive course work in a variety of manual therapy techniques, but finds her patients to be her best teachers.
Michele's manual skills integrate her artistic and intuitive side with her science background for a balanced approach to treatment. "My patients are individuals who have unique needs and lifestyles. To me, seeing the whole picture and listening closely is paramount to providing the best care."
