Hello from Mary Cox, PT

I am a physical therapist who loves her career in the field of men and women’s health. You will learn experience, feel and become more aware of your body than ever before. You body will feel healthier, and glide through space with ease and comfort.

Why I do the work?  It fits my personality.  I love to hug, touch, share, learn and help people.  I was the oldest of six children and have always been in the position of a care giver.  I have a wonderful daughter, who means the world to me. You can say, “It’s just in my nature!”

I have been involved in the division of women’s health since 1997.  Basically the door opened and I looked in.  I found my dream profession and just can’t seem to get enough.  There is so much to learn that I will never feel stagnant, this is what makes the job exciting.

What motivates me the most is seeing and feeling the bodies change by resolving restriction and pain and making the body move in directions and ways it hasn’t since childhood.  I love seeing and hearing success stories and changed lives about the new little ones I helped to bring into to this world.  My goal is to emanate beauty in this world of ours.

Sincerely,

Mary Elizabeth Cox, PT

Hello & Welcome!

My name is Kandy. I’m one of the first voices you’ll hear when you call Clear Passage Therapies. I am the Patient Coordinator and I am here to assist you in any manner that I can. I hope that you will take this opportunity to navigate around our website, read the blog, post your thoughts in response, or ask a question.

I grew up in a small town in Colorado where I worked in the medical field in many different aspects from billing & coding to Medical assistant to Allergist. I enjoy the simple things in life like having long conversations with my children, spending time with my husband, cooking, camping in the mountains, hiking, reading, playing with my dogs, going to the drag races, and going to car shows.

I joined Clear Passage Therapies in mid- 2007 after relocating to Florida with my husband Bill. Everyone at Clear Passage took me in and made me feel like one of the family right from the start. I am truly blessed to be a part of such a wonderful team/family here at CPT.

How many people can honestly say they love what they do and mean it? I honestly can-it’s amazing to be a part of such a nurturing and healing environment. It really is wonderful to see and hear how lives are being affected and to know that you have made a positive impact in the life of someone else. To me that’s what it’s all about–caring for your fellow man

Here to Help You!

Hello Everyone! My name is Jackie and I’m excited to be a part of this blog. I joined Clear Passage Therapies as an intern while I was an undergraduate at the University of Florida. The CPT team mentored me and nurtured me through my college years and I haven’t been able to part with them since. I’ve worked in numerous areas, but my true loves are research and writing. I suggest you check out our resource page (http://www.clearpassage.com/resources/) to read recent studies that are relevant to your health. I had a blast scouring through hundreds of articles to find the ones that can best help you.

Another exciting project I’ve been working on is our upcoming book. Belinda Wurn, Larry Wurn, and Dr. Richard King have been pouring hours of thought, love, and research into a book that discusses how our therapy can help infertility, sexual function, and pain. I’ve been honored to help in the organizational and research aspect. One of my favorite parts has been gathering patient stories for the book. Over 60 men and women have shared their experiences and I cannot wait until you read their stories. These men and women have touched me with their openness, kindness, and sheer determination to reach their goals. Be sure to register for our newsletter at http://www.clearpassage.com/resources/newsletter/ and receive sneak peek views of some of their stories. We would also love to hear what you would like to see in the book at http://www.clearpassage.com/resources/book.php.

Why do I love these projects so much? Because I’ve seen CPT help countless men and women. I love waking up and working for a team that sees patients as individuals and helps them with a natural treatment. I firmly believe that every individual has unique talents, gifts, and passions to help people in different ways. CPT has given me the perfect environment to use my talents and gifts to help people like you.

Thanks for visiting our blog! The CPT team and I are dedicated to providing interesting and relevant information so that a visit to our blog is always worth your time. Take care!

Greetings from the blog moderator

Amy Parker

Greetings! I am honored to be the blog ‘manager’ for the Clear Passage Blog. I have worked for Clear Passage since 2003 in many roles, but spending most of my time in the research and writing departments. As a graduate from UF (go Gators!) with a BA in English, I can’t think of a better way to spend my time (other than playing with my three dogs–all spoiled brats, or camping with my husband in the middle of the Ocala National Forest). Now I have the privilege to moderate our new blog and I’m really excited about this opportunity! Please feel free to share any comments or suggestions you have for improving the blog. This is a learning curve for me and I hope to continue to improve the blog and make your experience here with us a good one. Cheers!
