As the Chief Editor of Miracle Moms, Better Sex, Less Pain, I’ve had the opportunity to oversee the writing of this incredible book from start to finish.
Miracle Moms is a book unlike any other. It wasn’t born out of a desire to make a profit on book sales or to elevate the authors to celebrity status. It was born out of the same element that started Clear Passage Therapies: desire to help others. Belinda Wurn EXPERIENCED the pain caused by adhesions while her husband, Larry, had to helplessly watch as the doctors told Belinda there was nothing they could do.
Once Belinda and Larry found the key to relieve Belinda’s pain, they knew they had to share it with others. They formed a small physical therapy clinic that eventually became Clear Passage Therapies when they discovered they could help women with infertility.
Their new book is a continuation of their desire to share this new treatment with others. They want other people to know that a non-invasive, natural treatment EXISTS and can help – without the deleterious effects of surgery or medications. Furthermore, as educators, they believe they have a duty to scientifically enhance the health fields they care so deeply about.
The Wurns have proven that the key ingredient to a start a truly heartfelt book is the same ingredient needed to finish it: desire to help others. After hearing from their editor (ahem, me) that a chapter would need to be reworked for the ninth time, they never once considered just scrapping the chapter or cutting out the difficult section. Every single time, they were willing to go back to the drawing board and find the most effective, fresh way to educate their readers. In fact, I often had to stop them from including more chapters and section in the book.
The Wurns care so deeply for the lives they know they can reach and want this book to be a ray of hope – the hope Belinda desperately needed when she was left in chronic pain. The Wurns understand the devastating affects chronic pain can reap on a life, the heartache of an unfilled desire to have children, and the impact of sexual dysfunction on a marriage. They want to reach out to these people because know what it feels like and know they can help.
