Program Information and Costs

We provide physical therapy (PT) services. Physical therapists are healthcare professionals with college degrees in their profession. In the US, they are licensed by the state to treat pain and dysfunction.

An elite group, we are the founders and leaders of “manual therapy for infertility” (the Wurn Technique®). We began developing our work in 1989 as internal and external physical therapy techniques for complex chronic pain patients who could not find relief elsewhere. When several women became pregnant despite a diagnosis of infertility, we began to develop protocols for infertility patients. Since that time, our results have been published in respected peer-reviewed medical journals. We treat infertile women and chronic pain  patients of both sexes from around the world.

There is no substitute. Many try to compare us with massage therapy. We do not provide massage therapy, and it is important to recognize that the Wurn Technique® is not massage. Our work is a very site-specific physical therapy designed to address the adhesions that cause pain and poor function. After nearly two decades of study, research, and development of manual physical therapy techniques for the abdomen and pelvis, we have significant expertise in the anatomy, function, and treatment of the female reproductive tract and other abdominopelvic structures.

Neither massage nor any other pelvic physical therapy has published results proving effectiveness with fertility, and certain other pain or dysfunction. Only the Wurn Technique® has been shown in medical studies and citations to:

  1. Improve natural pregnancy rates
  2. Improve IVF success rates
  3. Open blocked fallopian tubes (with live births)
  4. Open hydrosalpinx (with live births)
  5. Decrease endometriosis pain
  6. Significantly decrease intercourse pain, and
  7. Improve sexual function

Program costs vary by location, based on cost of living. The full 20-hour fertility program is $5,200 in our Florida, and California clinics, and $4,400 in Iowa. You may choose our split program, scheduling 10 hours initially and with your remaining 10 hours scheduled at a later date. Please call our office to discuss payment for this option. Patients coming only for pain issues may attend hourly as needed (hourly rates apply). Further details and scheduling information are available at Infertility Program and Pain Program.
