Overview
Female infertility issues refer to conditions or factors that affect a woman’s ability to conceive or carry a pregnancy to term, typically after 12 months of regular, unprotected intercourse (or 6 months for women over age 35). These issues can arise from hormonal, structural, mechanical, or functional causes that interfere with ovulation, fertilization, implantation, or the ability of the reproductive organs to function normally.
Infertility can result from a wide range of factors that affect the reproductive system in both women and men. In women, common causes include hormonal imbalances that interfere with ovulation (such as diminished ovarian reserve, polycystic ovary syndrome, or thyroid disorders), structural or mechanical problems like fallopian tube blockage, pelvic adhesions or scar tissue from surgery, infection, or endometriosis, and uterine conditions such as fibroids or Asherman’s syndrome.
Age-related decline in egg quality and quantity also plays a significant role. Lifestyle factors—including chronic stress, obesity, smoking, alcohol use, environmental toxin exposure, and certain medications—can negatively impact fertility. In some cases, despite thorough evaluation, no clear cause is identified, a condition known as unexplained infertility.
Why Choose Clear Passage®
We have been treating female infertility since 1989. We hand-pick each therapist based on years of manual therapy experience, courses attended before we train them, reviews from referring physicians and patients, compassion, and the ability to listen deeply. We train each extensively in the therapy we have researched and developed over the course of two decades.
We have developed our treatment since 1986 with two goals: safety and effectiveness. We screen each patient for contraindications to therapy. We have treated hundreds of complex cases and conditions; we often consult with physicians and scientists throughout the treatment process to ensure positive outcomes. Our procedures have been shown to be safe. Therapy is tailored to each patient’s needs.
