General Comments About Therapy at Clear Passage Clinics

I want to express my gratitude to Clear Passage Therapies for what you were able to do for me. The wonderful work you perform deserves recognition.

I am a woman who has had four surgeries. For me the surgery caused adhesions that became extremely painful. If it were not for Clear Passage Therapies, I would be contemplating another surgery for obstruction in my bowel caused from adhesions.

I am normally a very active person. Before the painful adhesions began, I was working three part time jobs. (Substitute teaching, cleaning offices, GED instructor) After 9 months of pain, I was unable to perform even the lightest housework. I could not wear normal clothing. The pain of adhesions altered my life.

After my medical doctor was unable to determine what was causing me constant pain. I went to the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, MN. The doctor at Mayo Clinic informed me I had obstruction from adhesions in my bowel that would require surgery in the future. I knew another surgery would cause more adhesions and more surgery and so on and on.

After the bleak information from the doctors, I became depressed. In desperation, I searched the internet for "natural remedy for adhesions." I was not expecting any website to have the answer I was looking for, since I did not know such therapy existed. I was thankful when the Clear Passage website came up. After reading the information on the Clear Passage website, I knew I had to have these treatments.

I received therapy at the Clear Passage clinic in Ames, Iowa. The therapist there was very professional and knowledgeable in her work. I especially valued the informative education I received; she kept me informed of what she was doing all during treatments. She made me feel valued while at the same time she made me feel very comfortable. I came away feeling like I made a new friend.

Since receiving therapy at Clear Passage, I am again able to do my teaching job and all the normal things I had done before adhesion pain overtook my life. I feel like you gave me back to me. I have the peace of mind that I will not need the surgery for obstruction in my bowel after all. I am hopeful that one day the medical doctors will prescribe this therapy to all patients who suffer from adhesions.

Clear Passage takes the time to get to know your body and then monitors improvement from that point. As a physician, this was very important to me. They listened to our input and showed us hands on skills. It is a highly impressive program. The therapists showed a high degree of professionalism and expertise while still connecting with patient and spouse. This program makes sense and we feel more hopeful following this treatment than most of the treatments in the past. The out-of-town coordinator did a great job accommodating us and offering suggestions. My only other suggestion is to expand to other cities so that others can have the opportunity to participate. Whether or not we become pregnant, I certainly feel better!

I came to Clear Passage because I have been infertile for over seven years. The lower back pain I had been suffering from for over 20 years became a part of my life and I accepted this pain, and later the intercourse pain, as "normal for me." I just completed 20 hours of therapy. My ultimate prayer is that I will become pregnant - but I have already been rewarded. Intercourse pain has reduced 99% in one week as well as the lower back pain. I value the instructions on how to strengthen my back and prevent further injuries. The therapists could not have been more caring and patient with me and my husband. You and your entire staff are all a very special group.

I never imagined that I would leave with the emotions I had on Friday. But it would be impossible to feel any different after spending a week with such special people as all of you. I regret that in an attempt to compose myself, I did not give everyone a hug of overwhelming appreciation. Well, that composure lasted all of an instant after we left!

I feel very fortunate to have had the opportunity to meet everyone and be a part of your wonderful discovery! It was an incredible experience for both of us - emotionally and especially for me - physically. Your undivided attention to me and my problems and the way I feel today is unbelievable. For the first time I could hold my little niece without my legs giving out on me. Among all of your work, thank you for the extensive attention to my lower back. A baby will be the ultimate reward, but I left treatment without the back and pelvic pain that I learned to live with for close to 15 years!

I will burn a CD of my husband‘s stories. Getting away from his work was his therapy. Thank you for allowing him to share in my therapy sessions. We both were very intrigued by each of you.
