Marcelle Pick Releases New Book on March 15

Our dear friend and colleague, Marcelle Pick, is releasing her new book, Are you Tired and Wired? on March 15th.

Do you wake up every morning feeling exhausted, overwhelmed, and stressed? Are you constantly reaching for coffee, soda, or some other promise of energy just to keep youself going? Do you struggle through the day- tired, irritable, forgetful, depressed, and craving sweets - only to have trouble sleeping that night?

In Are you Tired and Wired?, Marcelle Pick, co-founder of Women to Women, gives you the knowledge and tools to overcome the epidemic of fatigue, often caused by adrenal dysfunction.

Put an End to Endo

Clear Passage will giveaway over $7,000 worth in prizes this month to focus on the devastating effects of endometriosis. These prizes will include donations to endometriosis support groups selected by the top two winners of the 'Put an End to Endo' Giveaway. The grand prize winner will also receive a free 20 hour program of hands-on physical therapy, known as the Wurn Technique^®, to treat endometriosis pain and/or infertility.

The contest aims to increase awareness virally through Clear Passage's Facebook page. Women with endometriosis can submit a photo to the company's Facebook Page. They will gather votes and raise awareness by receiving "likes" from their family and friends. The three contestants with the most "likes" by midnight, March 31st will receive prizes, to be announced on the site the following week.

Featured Patient Story

I am 36 years old and have had endometriosis since the age of 17. It caused me so much pain that I perpetually searched for a cure. After three laparoscopies, I was in worse shape than before. I constantly went to doctors with the hope that one of them could help make the pain go away. Because my pain was not limited to just my reproductive area, I was constantly referred to different doctors that specialized in specific areas of the body. Unfortunately, no one could ever give me a definite cause of what was wrong with me.

After my fourth laparoscopy years ago, I was in so much pain that I could not walk during my period. In addition, I was also trying to get pregnant. I was really concerned about my pain and wondered how I could possibly conceive and carry if all of this was going on in my body.
