When everyone else but you seems to be having babies, it can be easy to fall into the trap of thinking you’re the only one struggling to get pregnant. While you may feel like you are completely alone in the world of infertility, this is far from the truth.
Try to think of the last time you were out at a restaurant with your partner. Now think of how many couples were having dinner around you. For every 8 couples you see, one of those may be struggling with infertility. That means in a small restaurant with 30 people, 4 of those couples could be going through the same things you are.
It’s National Infertility Awareness Week and we hope that this movement will help affected women realize they are not alone and that support is available to them.
