Have you had a small bowel obstruction in the last 2 years?
If so, you are invited to join a research study to examine the impact of small bowel obstruction on the quality of life using a validated questionnaire. The study looks at the overall quality of life using a computer based questionnaire over the course of 3 months in order to quantify the overall impact on the day to day functions of patients.
Potential benefits to study subjects
There is no direct benefit to study subjects, however, the information from this study will provide data on the overall impact on small bowel obstruction on the quality of life in patients.
