From acupuncture and chiropractic care to yoga and relaxation techniques, the number of natural fertility treatment options continues to grow. If you are considering the Wurn Technique as a drug-free, non-surgical approach to help you conceive, we invite you to consider the following.
What Makes Our Natural Fertility Treatment Different
The lack of scientific data is often cited as a drawback of many alternative treatments. However, the results of our treatment, the Wurn Technique, have been published in peer-reviewed medical journals. Our therapists work closely with a team of research advisors to examine and publish studies on the results of our work. The commitment to scientific measurement is one of the pillars of the Clear Passage mission and philosophy. Learn more about our treatment success rates and published studies.
Another major concern about various alternative treatments is the potential for negative side effects or chemical interactions. As a hands-on physical therapy, the Wurn Technique does not use herbs, supplements or other substances that could potentially interact with medications. Instead, our therapists use only their hands and a protocol of over 200 techniques designed to reduce and eliminate the adhesions throughout the body.
Adhesions are bands of internal scar tissue that form as the body heals from infection, inflammation, surgery or trauma. When we treat women for infertility, our focus is to reduce the adhesions that have formed over years and are decreasing the function of the reproductive organs.
How Does It Work?
Like other alternative therapies, Clear Passage uses a holistic approach to treatment. Our therapists address the entire body, as opposed to isolated problem areas. In addition to treating adhesions that affect the function of the reproductive organs, our therapists also treat adhesions and restrictions throughout the entire body, with the goal of:
- significantly decreasing or totally eliminating pain
- improving muscle and joint mobility and flexibility
- improving circulation
- improving the function of the organs of digestion and elimination
- restoring balance and function – wherever we treat
- improving postural asymmetries and balance
As a result, many of the women we treat for infertility report a pain decrease in other areas of the body, such as neck, back, menstrual and intercourse pain.
A critical part of this whole-body approach is the patient’s feedback and intuition. Our patients provide us with invaluable information that enhances our ability to provide optimal care. Because we see each patient as an expert in their body and its history, we invite them to become an active member of the team that is evaluating and treating them.
In addition, one and two-hour direct therapy sessions with each patient help ensure that we are delivering highly personalized care. Women receiving our infertility treatment typically have four hours of therapy per day.
