Kathy Hess, PT
Director of Metro Washington DC Location
Kathy has more than 30 years experience as a physical therapist. She graduated from the University of Pittsburgh with a B.S. in physical therapy in 1980. She is a member of the American Physical Therapy Association (APTA) and the Women’s Health Section of the APTA.
Kathy has spent the last 20 years using manual (hands-on) techniques to treat chronic pain issues. Throughout her career, she has worked in many areas of pain and dysfunction, including neurologic, pediatric, orthopedic, and geriatric treatment and rehabilitation.
Returning people to a healthy, pain free life is what inspires me to be a therapist and why I love what I do.
Kathy has owned and directed Still Water Physical Therapy for ten years. She then moved to a contractor that provided care to the U.S. military for four years. While she found it very fulfilling to help our men and women in uniform, she is thrilled to reopen Still Water Physical Therapy in conjunction with Clear Passage Physical Therapy.
